Video: Authentic Chinese BáiCài Recipe
Mr Zhou Brought Us Napa Cabbages For Months on End. This is How We Got Through Them.
Chinese chefs have the unique ability to make any vegetable taste aggressively delicious. We’ve never heard a Chinese person say they don’t like vegetables, and we see this as one thing China has going for it when thinking about a plant-based revolution!
Since the start of spring, our kind neighbour Mr Zhōu has been bringing us báicài, napa cabbages, from his urban farm. This gave us plenty of time to experiment with classic Chinese methods of turning this humble cabbage into an exciting, spicy side dish! Try this dish at home and let us know how you get on!
And maybe there is a way to direct the views from Wechat to your blogs? For example, if you comment under the most popular video saying that you are the person being featured, and post the link of your blog? And meanwhile, probably update the bio.
Hi! Lovely to hear back from you! I laughed for so long that Joe are invited to make the film with Chengdu TV. :D I found it very interesting, I heard similar things happen from other friends too.
I am excited that you are continuing focusing on food this month. The Fake Meat in temples tastes different (and for me, much better) than the one sold in supermarket like Aldi, and it said wherever Chinese people are, there is Tofu. The Tofu is probably also the oldest (at least one of the oldest) plant meat in the world! Maybe Momo and Qiuqiu also like it? I don't know.
