A couple of friends had spoken of folks they knew out there planning to cycle their way back across the work on bikes made of bamboo...With their Dogs! Hangzhou - so quite a ways away from you but who knows where I'll visit. I spent a couple of days in Chengdu back in 2009 but I would imagine its a very different place now.
Hangzhou, great city! I'm sure Chengdu has changed greatly in some ways but other areas remained much the same. Give me a shout if you're ever in town.
